Description
The route is specific to XCO competitions, it is a 4.4 km long circuit, with a level difference of 170 m per lap.
The starting lap is 3.9 km with a difference in elevation of 140 m.
Depending on the category, a different number of laps will be completed.
The marking will be done with marking tape and signboards according to the regulations.
On Dealul Ciorii, there are 5 downhill trails (Cioara, La Purcici, Poiana Caraiman – Cioara, Poezie and Moșu). The route combines technical portions of the Cioara, La Purcici, Poiana Caraiman – Cioara and Poezie trails, with newly built sections and elements.
The starting point of the route is on the paved road, right after the telecommunications relay!

How do you get to the start/finish area and where do you park your car?

Details:
From the center of Reșita, take the exit to Lupac. After about 3 km, you will reach the COAT OF ARMS of Reșita, located on the right. From the coat of arms of the city, you must turn left onto the forest road. It is about 2 km to walk along the forest road to the start/finish area. The road is not of exceptional quality, so we do not assume responsibility for any damage to the cars. We recommend that people with very low cars or those who prefer to avoid forest roads park their vehicles:
1. at the intersection at the RESIȘIȚA CITY COAT OF ARMS, before turning left onto the forest road or nearby (after the coat of arms, on the road on the right or ahead), but without blocking the road/access to properties - https://maps.app.goo.gl/Zpex39RP7EYfVTXj6
2. at the parking lot arranged in the city, at the RESIȚA POLICLINIC - https://maps.app.goo.gl/LyaVUzDBJdeo511C6
