How do I pack the package correctly?

If you have any other questions or requests, Contact us!

To ensure your product arrives safely at its destination, make sure you pack it as well as possible. Think about every possible situation: inclement weather, rough transport, or being stored under other heavy packages. The more carefully you protect it, the greater the chances that it will arrive intact and without any unpleasant surprises.

You make sure it's well packaged, the courier makes sure it arrives quickly. So, when he comes to pick it up, your package has to be ready to go.

1
Protection inside the package:

For effective protection, use materials such as polystyrene, bubble wrap, plastic bags, newsprint, waxed paper (for protection against moisture), corrugated cardboard, or cardboard or plastic corners.

For example, if you're shipping a bike part, such as a derailleur, pedal, or headlight, wrap each component separately using paper or bubble wrap. Fill any empty spaces in the box with polystyrene, shredded cardboard, or plastic bags so that the parts don't bump into each other during shipping.

If you are shipping a fragile, high-value product, it is worth investing in superior protective packaging, such as polyurethane foam or expandable foam bags. These mold to the shape of the product and provide excellent protection against shock and vibration during transport.

2
Protection outside the package:

If the product is fragile, visibly mark the box with the words “FRAGILE.” You can also use special adhesive tape, already labeled for such situations.

For bicycle parts or accessories, use single-layer cardboard boxes for lightweight, durable items, or double-layer cardboard boxes for heavier or fragile components. Flat items such as stickers, trail maps, or manuals can be packed in thick paper envelopes, which provide sufficient protection during transport.

Seal the package well with plenty of tape, even if it means a little extra effort for the recipient. Secure packaging is always preferable to a damaged product.
